Factoring For Trucking

Once and for all, an IOU or an invoice is certainly not going to cover overheads, is it? For trucking agencies when the funds can be really good one day and gone the next, it's up to the drivers to work prudently and to make certain they are leaving themselves with a substantial quantity of time and finance to get through the week until they are paid for again.

As of the 2010 Census, Montgomery had a population of 205,764. It is the second-largest city in Alabama, after Birmingham,[8] and the 103rd largest in the United States. The Montgomery Metropolitan Statistical Area had a 2010 estimated population of 374,536. It is the fourth-largest in the state and 136th among United States metropolitan areas.[9]The city was incorporated in 1819, as a merger of two towns situated along the Alabama River. It became the state capital in 1846, representing the shift of power to the south-central area with the growth of cotton as a commodity crop of the Black Belt and Mobile's rise as a mercantile port. In February 1861, Montgomery was selected as the first capital of the Confederate States of America, until the seat of government moved to Richmond, Virginia, in May of that year. During the mid-20th century, Montgomery was a major site of events in the African-American Civil Rights Movement,[10] including the Montgomery Bus Boycott and the Selma to Montgomery marches. In addition to housing many Alabama government agencies, Montgomery has a large military presence due to Maxwell Air Force Base; public universities Alabama State University, Troy University (Montgomery campus), and Auburn University at Montgomery; private colleges/universities Faulkner University and Huntingdon College; high-tech manufacturing, including Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama;[11] and cultural attractions such as the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts. Two ships of the United States Navy have been named after the city, including USS Montgomery (LCS-8).[12]Montgomery has won several national awards including being voted Best Historic City by USA Today, being named an All-America City in 2014 by the National Civic League, and being named the happiest city in Alabama. In 1840 Montgomery County led the state in cotton production,[52] and by 1911, the city processed 160,000200,000 bales of cotton annually.[53] Montgomery has long had large metal fabrication and lumber production sectors.[53] Due to its location along the Alabama River and extensive rail connections, Montgomery has and continues to be a regional distribution hub for a wide range of industries and has diversified its economy in recent years with increased employment in sectors such as healthcare, business, government, and manufacturing. The Benefits Staffing Factoring can offer numerous benefits to cash-hungry business. Rather than wait 30, 60, 90 days or longer for payment on a product that has currently been delivered, a company can factor (sell) its receivables for cash at a small discount off the amount of the invoice. Payroll, advertising efforts, and working capital are just a few of the business needs that can be satisfied with instant  cash.

Factoring provides the means for a producer to replenish inventory and make even more items to offer: There is no longer a requirement to wait for earlier sales to be paid. FACTORING is not simply a money management device for producers: Almost any type business can benefit from Staffing Factoring. Generally, a company that extends credit will have 10 to 20 percent of its yearly sales bound in invoices at any given time. Think for a moment about exactly how much is bound in 60 days' worth of invoices: You can not pay the power expense or today s payroll with a client s invoice, but you can sell that invoice for the money to satisfy those obligations. Using truck factoring companies is a quick and simple procedure. The factor purchases the invoice at a price cut, usually a couple of percentage points less than the stated value of the invoice.

How To Burn Off Receivables, Hour-by-Hour

"

So, this is not a loan? asked Kurt Lewis, reclining back into his chair and crossing his legs. The woman sitting across the desk from Kurt smiled at him, shaking her head. Not quite, she said.Kurt Lewis owned a small trucking company, and his business had recently fallen on difficult times. Certainly the trucking business can be an extremely profitable venture, and for many years it had been that way for Everett. His company was called Bishop Trucking, named after both of his grandfathers, Gabriel and Edgar. Both of these men had been very hardworking and had set a great example for Everett.Six months ago disaster struck Everett's business when two out of his fleet of fifteen trucks were taken off the road.

One was involved in a very costly accident, and the other simply rolled over, and headed to the trucking graveyard. The financial security of Everett's company relied on his full fleet on fifteen being on the road, and missing two trucks was just devastating . Furthermore, buying a whole new truck and fixing the other simply took more cash than Kurt had on hand.A big problem a lot of trucking companies came across was how bills were paid in the industry. Waiting a month or longer for bills to be paid was quite normal. In the long run, this wasnt an issue, but if problems arose, you could find yourself in trouble.Kurt was an excellent business man, and he certainly hadn't done anything wrong. Certain events had occurred that he could not possibly have predicted, and now he had to find a way to protect his business and prevent it from ultimate devastation.Thats where the woman across the desk came in. Her name was Joyce and she worked for a factoring company. Kurt had come across her company as he sat in his office late one night, pouring over the internet for some solution to his problem long after his employees had gone home. She sat there now, and explained. it is really not a loan at all: we actually buy your accounts receivable. We arent giving you money to be paid back later, were buying something from you, and you can buy it back when you can. That way were protected from a complete loss, but youre protected from the outrageous fees you would find in a loan from the bank.Kurt nodded. It sounded perfect - perhaps too good?.The woman laughed. I'm not sure that you believe me, she said. No, I do, I just think it sounds a bit too good to be true. I thought I was going to lose my company.Joyce smiled, agreeing. Yes, we get a lot of that. There's no way we want to see you lose your business. We know how hard you work, and that you've invested everything in your business. Sometimes you need help. Thats what were here for.""Well, I'm very grateful that you came to see me today.""No problem - I'm just down the road. We normally do it all online but I was happy to come and visit you today, said Joyce with a smile. Lets see what we can do to help you.And right there and then they created a business profile. Kurt completed the form, with Joyce offering advice as needed.

The profile filled Joyce and her company in on Everetts company, and would help them determine if he was suitable for factoring. In truth, not all companies were. Some were beyond factoring special brand of help, and sometimes things werent even dire enough for it. Listening as Kurt filled out his form, Joyce was pretty sure he was a perfect candidate for factoring. When the form was done Joyce took it and slid it into her briefcase. Standing up, she reached over the desk and shook Everett's hand. He stood before they shook as well, and then smiled. They said their goodbyes and Kurt walked her to the door, and then returned to his office. All his staff members were there, all seven who worked in his office. Sitting behind his desk once more he could hear the familiar sounds of his office workers going about their daily business. He leaned back and closed his eyes. He felt so drained: he had been flailing helplessly for so long, he just knew his business was going to collapse and probably take him with it. But now, after speaking to Joyce and learning all about Factoring, he felt such a huge relief, like someone had just lifted a huge weight off his shoulders. He relaxed into his chair, running his hand through his thick black hair with its telling streaks of grey. All those long, sleepless nights. The terrifying panic attacks that occurred regardless of where he was. Already he could feel all the stress start to drain away. He knew it wasn't over yet and that there was still a way to go, but he could just feel everything start to change for him. He was there, he was on the right path, and he was working to make things right. His mind wandered back to the very beginning, when he first started his business. He had opened a restaurant at age twenty two when he was fresh out of school. It had been really successful. Offering home cooking in his own hometown, his business had really prospered. But it wasn't what he really wanted to do. He wasn't passionate about the food industry. He thought about it for a long time, then decided it was time to sell his restaurant. He took six months off, and during that time he decided to create Bishop Trucking. And that's exactly what he did. For the second time in his short life he created a company from the ground up. He had been successful. Then disaster! The two trucks went down and suddenly his success wasn't looking so guaranteed. He was nearing fifty. He was concerned that he just did not have the energy left to try and save the business. But giving up wasn't part of his personality either.

The idea of cutting his losses, shutting down, laying off his workers, it actually made him sick some nights. He didnt know how to say quit. And now it seemed as though he would not have to - all because of Factoring. Everett's eyes opened, he sat forward in his chair and turned on his computer. He had things to do. He could be thankful later, for now, it was time to work.

Freight Factoring Reviews

"

Hamilton Truck and Haul has been in business since the mid 1980s. For more than twenty years they've been delivering goods for most major industries in the nation, with business booming as they traversed the country, in all kinds of weather, for all kinds of clients. During the heady times from 2002 to 2007, Hamilton was a top rated accounts receivable mastermind of the trucking industry. Few customers were ever late on bills and those clients who were, were sure to turn in their late payments within a reasonable amount of time. Times were great for everyone, and the cash was flowing. But a short year later, in the fall of 2008, when the United States economy took a nosedive and businesses both small and large began to feel the pinch on their pocketbooks, those that used to make their demands had suddenly and largely gone silent. Business slowed to a crawl

. Worse still, it was noticed by Hamilton in early 2008 that even though most of their loyal customers were on time with their payments, there were a few late bloomers who were starting to spread the disease. And as spring turmed to summer and summer into the early days of fall, Tony Fernandez, CEO of Hamilton felt a chill go down his spine whenever he would look at the weekly A/R reports. The number of clients who were late in their payments was continuing to grow.He had gone to his administrators and asked them what the problem had been. Were they doing things different, or wrong, when it came to collecting overdue accounts? When checking his bookkeeper's records this was definitely not the case. Perhaps he was losing his customers to his competitor, who seemed to offer very low prices with no guarantee of quality or performance, and these clients who were in debt to his company had possibly disappeared leaving him stranded. They could not afford to pay him their debt, but they could afford a lesser service, maybe. So he did the necessary research and, after discussions with friends in the same field, he realised that no, his customers hadn't gone anywhere else. They had just gone home. The situation looked dire to Tony Fernandez. He had employees to pay, goods to ship, trucks to maintain and overhead that was almost unbearable when compared against the lack of funds that were coming in. In the evenings he would discuss his concerns with his wife, Gladys, and still find no relief from the worry and frustration.

""I have a bad feeling, Lin,"" he'd sadly say to his wife.""What could you do differently?"" she would ask.Tony would stare off into the distance, and then slowly close his eyes. He could see the fleet of trucks he had purchased over the years. He could see them traveling, bringing goods to all of his clients. But then a haze would cover his trucks and his vast fleet would vanish to leave just a few. What on earth was happening to create the death of his business?""I think I know what it could be,"" said Tony. ""For way too long I've been relying solely on profits received from invoices. For too long I've been allowing our clients to let their accounts become overdue."" Linda could only grab her husband's hand and look at him lovingly, ""it is a hard economy. It might be awhile until things get settled up.

""Tony knew very well that Gladys was only trying to help, but his responsibilities weighed heavily on his shoulders and he knew he had better do something soon to resolve this situation. The following day Tony walked into his office with a spring in his step, determined to call each and every client who owed money to Hamilton Truck & Haul. Now, it wasn't the most efficient way to spend a day as a chief executive, what he really needed to be doing was to be overseeing all of the other intricacies of shipment and delivery and reaching out to prospective clients or retraining his sales team to do the same. But, he felt like he was doing something proactive to help his business, even though he had staff on salary to do just that thing. A waste of time - a waste of money - he had the best intentions, but all the while Tony was realising just how much trouble he was in.Poor Tony spent the whole morning trying in vain to contact his debtors: they promised to call back, dodged his calls, or made small interest-only payments. He was beginning to feel quite despaired when his secretary knocked on his door.

""Can I have a word with you Tony?"" she asked standing in the doorway.

""Sure thing Tracy, come on in."" Tony relaxed back into his chair and looked up at Tracyerley.""Well, I did a little searching this afternoon and tried to figure out a way out of this mess Tony."" She opened up a folder she had been carrying and pulled out a small wad of papers, placing them on the desk in front of him.""Have you ever heard of factoring?"" she asked.""It does sound vaguely familiar. What is factoring""? he asked.""Well,"" she began, ""Its actually quite simple really.

So basically, factoring invoices would enable us to get paid on the nose for loads that we haul.""Tony interrupted ""Immediately?"".""Immediately, yes"" she added, ""it is actually very simple. We start by having a professional account manager review our figures and help us set up a company profile. That profile will also include investigating our accounts receivable aging reports, our existing customer credit limits and so on. In addition, factoring will assist in determining our customers' creditworthiness, independent from their credit relationship with our company. It provides a very broad view.""I see, Tony said. And then what?""Well, after their review, and were approved for a factoring contract, we can negotiate terms and conditions. Theres a lot of flexibility depending on the business volume and credit histories. The company will advise us the cost to purchase factoring for our company's accounts receivable. The funding commences once weve arrived at an agreement.Leaning forward, Tony studied the documents very closely.""It sounds too good to be true, Tracy,"" he said.""Yes, I know; that's exactly what I thought at the beginning. But really, they have guaranteed us experts that do all the legwork, which would free us up here to focus on our clients in good standing and marketing, all that good stuff. And they're flexible Tony,"" she drew a circle around a paragraph on the document before him.""How flexible?"" he asked.""They personalize the factoring rates so that the amount they are willing to take on is commensurate with our needs and our clients debt. Apparently they can figure this all out in two to four days.

""It does all sound pretty good, remembering that we are all tapped out now with loans from the bank last year to repair vehicles, and we all know just how tight money is. We need to keep business rolling as normal and every day were going unpaid, were closer to facing some serious problems in both the short and long term,"" said Tony.He took a deep breath and looked at his secretary with something she recognized as hope.""Precisely. This could be the answer to our prayers: it will solve many problems we are facing due to these unpaid debts.""Tony took a moment to think about this solution, and agreed with his secretary. The clients who owed them money were long standing friends and professional resources of Hamilton. They did not want to throw away these relationships because they were having trouble paying their bills now. He was well aware that the economy was in a bad way and that it might be quite a while before things started picking up. That unknown amount of time could create a disaster situation for both of them if he wasn't careful in how these debtors were handled. He did not want to lose business but he also did not want to lose any more money.""Let me go over this tonight Tracy, and thankyou."" Tracy nodded, satisfied with her work, and she left the office feeling quite content in the knowledge that she had helped Tony keep the shirt on his back, and possibly hers too.Tony sat behind his desk and looked over the details Tracy had not mentioned in their meeting. What other issues could freight factoring help Hamilton with? Running his pencil down the sheet, he noted that the freight factoring company could assist with fuel costs, fuel advances, and fuel discount cards. Tony was surprised: it said that his company could get up to fifty percent cash advances on load pickups. As a man who hated binding contracts with no room to breathe, he was pleased to see that this factoring company would not make him sign a long term contract, would not make him pay any sign up fees and there was no minimum volume required.""I must tell Francis the good news,"" muttered Tony to himself.Francis is Tony's son-in-law, and he really admired the ideas behind Hamilton, so much so that only two years before he had started his own transportation service business. Tony knew then what struggles Francis would face but he encouraged him nonetheless. With the faltering economy, if a big fish like Hamilton was hurting, a little guy like Francis was about to catch his death. But, maybe the answer for both of them was in freight factoring, and Tony was going to find out very soon. Some months later, having successfully gone through the entire process of the application, having experts study his credit history and statements and review his accounts receivable, Tony found that he was starting his journey out of the despair which had been created for him by his delinquent account holders. They adopted reasonable factoring purchase contracts and stopped wasting their own precious time trying to collect debts. They used that time to refocus their efforts in being competitive in new territories. Tony recalled those dismal months when he wasn't aware of freight factoring, and he shuddered at those memories. If Tony hadn't discovered freight factoring at just the right time, his business may not be operating today.

Factoring Services For Trucking Companies

The key reasons why Truck Establishments Employ Factoring Companies.

As the manager of your own business enterprise, you may well be much more than knowledgeable already of the challenge in making certain that capital concerns do not become a predicament down the line. Anyway, the most terrible thing that can possibly occur for your enterprise is to find yourself swept up in a long and tough condition that leaves you forever looking for the cash you need to have on an on-going basis.

For any kind of enterprise in this situation, the problem can come for waiting for work to clear up and actually be paid out into your statement. Statements, checks, and the like can take some time to actually to beprocessed which can leave you with short-term available resources dilemmas. Thank goodness, there are options out there for enterprises to explore-- and among these is factoring firms.

Factoring companies will, in substitution for your invoices, offer you with the finances right away to ensure that you do not need to worry about the lingering duration which could make paying the expenses and acquiring toolsmore complicated. With this style of system, invoice factoring can become incredibly valuable for several firms who need to avoid a cash ploy which they have discovered themselves in.

Due to the fact that, depending on the volume of the project, it can take up to 60 days for many business enterprises to get paid out then it is important to blanket your own back and certainly not leave yourself cash short to settle the costs. After all, how many companies have two months cash flow just lying there to cover all their expenses till they get paid?

This is most notably correct of trucking firms. They tend to take care of bunches of accounts which means a notable amount of collection time concerns company owner themselves. Seeking to get paid promptly can turn into an unbelievable struggle and this is the key reasons why you make use of truck factoring providers who are glad to help out truckers mainly.

As all of us recognize, trucking is an exceptionally big field with a lot of organizations out there working with hundreds of vehicle drivers. The sad thing is, numerous of these drivers end up in income troubles since they are still waiting for work from six weeks ago to actually compensate them. When this is the condition for a truck company, turning to factoring companies for support may be the very best alternative left.

This indicates that a trucking company can pay off the salaries of the workers, keep all the vehicles loaded with gas and continue to surmount, evolve and expand without always waiting for the funds which is taking too lengthy to come in. Trucking Businesses operating without a factoring program implemented are leaving themselves at substantial threat, as competitors cash out rapidly and proceed to develop.

There's absolutely very little to be troubled about when it comes to working with a Factoring business-- they are not like a bank or an individual who is going to leave you with a considerable mass of financial debt to pay back. You give them authentic invoices from work you have already wrapped up , you are merely accelerating the repayment process.

In the United States, where truck companies grow, factoring agencies are not considered getting a loan in any capacity. This private arrangement then makes it possible for both groups to benefit and experience a worry-free future-- it provides the factoring provider a secured resource of profit to put into the list and it offers the trucking firm the required finances that they worked hard to acquire.

The trucking establishment gives their invoices to the factoring business. The trucking factoring business then collect the installment payments from the trucking company's clients. Factoring has been in existence for centuries and has been utilized for long times by several different industries-- but none exceeding so than truckers. While you might miss out on a small part of the money, something like 1-3 % depending upon who you deal with, it implies that you are getting the resources today and can actually begin putting the money to operate.

Once and for all, an IOU or an invoice is not actually going to pay for spendings, is it? For trucking firms when the finances can be fantastic one day and gone the next, it is up to the vehicle drivers to work prudently and to guarantee they are leaving themselves with a considerable measure of time and finance to get through the week until they are paid for once more.

So the next period your trucking enterprise is bearing some momentary cash flow problems and you are shelling out way too much time chasing slow paying clients, why not begin thinking about employing a factoring businesses as a means to get your finances and give yourself a more pleasant future in the eyes of your trucking workers and your bank balance?

Factoring Truck Loads

"

The Future of a Trucking Company, and Factoring The phone was ringing on his desk, and Calvin Knight just sat there letting it ring. He let his morning coffee cool and left his cigarette to ash itself in the tray, because he is trying to make the biggest decision ever for his trucking company. Knight Trucking Company was at a turning point of growth and Calvin had to decide if signing with a factoring company was the right way forward.

More than forty years ago Calvin's father had started this business working as an owner-operator and eventually growing Knight Trucking Company into a fifteen trailer fleet. Yes, they had survived some very difficult times when it appeared like they might go under, and even Calvin's mother had jumped into the cab at times to make hauls. His father had worked long enough to see the price of hires drop dramatically during the recession and to see the explosion of fuel prices afterwards. Now the company was solely in Calvins hands and he wanted to live to see it in better shape for his sons.

To move Knight Trucking Company ahead into the future, he needed a steady cash flow but there was just not enough money to go around. His employees needed to be paid. They all have families and the usual household bills. A few of the refrigerated trailers really needed some maintenance, and in order to stay competitive he really wanted to invest in specialized haulers to meet the increasing requests for loads of agricultural and energy equipment. He knew that turning down these requests made Knight Trucking look inefficient and weak in what was currently a strong market.

His father would have told him to wait and to take his time adding on new technology. Calvin chuckled, thinking about his father. His father had been against placing GPS units in the cabs. His Dad would say ""Why on earth do you need some stranger telling you to get off the exit that everyone knows has been there for years? He smiled to himself as he remembered his father poking fun at the other drivers who switched to automatic, even though automatic was quite obviously more efficient (though less manly). He knew his father's days were long gone and new technology was very important for the business, like having Qualcomm to reduce communication time for bills of lading.

Calvin knew he was right in his forward thinking. What would be the next step for Knight Trucking? More importantly, how could he afford it? Funding was all tied up in the mortgage for the office and garage and in the fuel bills. Thankfully he'd just finished paying off the bank loan for the installation of satellite radio in the trucks.

But was factoring the answer? There was a lot he didnt understand about the process. It sounded like a ninth grade math problem and he wondered how this would fit into the trucking business. A factoring company actually purchases your invoices and takes control of your accounts receivable, payment being a certain percentage of the amount invoiced. In return, the factoring company pays the trucking business straight away, providing immediate cash flow for the business to pay staff, purchase fuel, and do any repairs or maintenance. Without the assistance of factoring, you have to wait for customers to send you the payment which is often 30 days late. In those 30 days, a trucking company cant pay its bills and employees in invoices.

Calvin had to really consider what his next step was going to be. Calvin had heard that there were companies that charged for same day money transfers and would only advance a percentage of the money owed to your company while holding the rest in a private account if they didnt get their bill payment within 60 or so days. Plus it was worse still if the customer didnt pay up at all because then the factoring company would take it right out of the money supposed to be coming to you! He'd even heard about some companies putting you onto a sliding percentage scale regardless of any previously signed contracts for possibly 3% or 7%, and there you are now with 10% coming as a charge to you out of the freight bill. His friend Ronnie who had a trucking business in Missouri, was run nearly into the ground by a factoring company that charged him the full freight bill on top of the factoring fees. He knew he would have to be very careful if he was to avoid any of these shady companies?

However, it all turned out to be very simple. When he called the factoring companies he discovered they were very open about their business practices, and very friendly and helpful. Their customer service actually knew things about their company and spoke in nice clear English so he could understand what was being explained. He was quite happy to sign an exclusive contract. In fact, he was quite pleased with the idea of a long-term contract because he knew this was a one-off and he would not have to keep going back and forth to different companies. He was not charged for a credit check, and in addition he was offered a fuel advance on the pick-up of a load. In fact there were a few companies who offered him a non-recourse factoring program, and this was exactly what he had been hoping for. He was more than happy with the figures he was offered in percentage terms on the freight bills. It was good money.

It was really refreshing dealing with the factoring people. They were extremely helpful and more personable than the bank staff. He was relieved to note that the factoring companies understood the trucking business and discussed business with him like a respected client, not like someone looking for a handout. The factoring companies were not interested in his credit nor the financial problems his father had experienced in the past. All the factoring company was interest in was the credit of his customers and on their reliability: this worked great for Calvin because he and his father had created a very strong and loyal list of clientele over the years. He knew immediately that there would not be any problems when they were contacted by the factoring company regarding their invoices. His clients wouldnt think poorly of Knight Trucking and the factoring companies appeared capable of handling the accounts receivable in the same polite manner that his father had used over the years.

Calvin stepped out of his office to let his secretary know to expect the arrival of the factoring contract shortly. There was a new bounce is his step now: he knew instinctively that this new step would raise the future of his company to a new and higher level, and that all the stress from the past could now be put behind him. With the capabilities of this new cash flow, Calvin could actually expand Knight Trucking Company further across the country and perhaps even go international into Canada. His heart felt full knowing his sons wouldnt have to worry about money because of the right decisions he had made for their trucking business.

Traditional Bank Loans

Finance through a bank loan is the normal, or traditional, way of financing your business. While these loans are handy they are not available to every business. For example, a fairly newly established business simply may not have the assets to readily get a loan from a bank, even if they do, the standard collateral for a business loan is the business itself, which means that if you cannot make your loan payment, you risk losing your entire business. Plus, the amount you apply for through the bank is the actual amount that you are going to receive. Once the loan is paid off, you can then apply for another loan if the need arises.

What Are Trucking Factoring Companies?

Trucking Factoring companies do not give loans, and the money you get from the Trucking Factoring company does not put you in debt. Rather the financing you receive from a Trucking Factoring company is based on money your business has already earned, but have not yet received. The Trucking Factoring company purchases your accounts receivable, or part of them, for a certain percentage of their value - this is normally about 80-95%. The amount of money you can receive is based on the amount of money you have earned and the accounts receivable you are willing to sell. Once you have set up Trucking Factoring account it continues as long as you wish it too and the amount of money available to you even can grow as your business grows, giving you the ready cash you need to meet your own obligations.

Benefits of a Trucking Factoring Company Vs. A Bank Loan

Not every business can benefit from Trucking Factoring account financing because you have to have a business with accounts receivable, however there are many benefits for those who can access this type of finance.

1. There is no debt. Since the Trucking Factoring company actually buys your accounts receivable you do not actually incur debt like you do with a bank loan. This has many benefits including the fact, that this type of financing will not affect either your business credit rating or your personal credit rating. In the event that your business fails, you would not have to be concerned about someone coming after your personal or your business assets in order to pay off a loan. The debt goes onto your credit report with a bank loan, with only one missed payment adversely affecting your business credit: it would also affect your ability to secure insurance, and may reflect on your personal credit rating as well.

2. No Collateral Required. Another great benefit of using the services of a Trucking Factoring company instead of a bank loan is that there is no collateral required for the Trucking Factoring company, because the Trucking Factoring company is buying your accounts receivables. In addition, while the Trucking Factoring company does run a credit check on your customers whose accounts receivables are offered for financing, the state of your credit is not an issue. This makes it easier for fledgling businesses to get the financing they need through a Trucking Factoring company (as long as their accounts receivables are in good order) then from a bank, who may not feel that you have been in business long enough to be worth the risk of issuing you a loan.

3. Receive Your Money Faster. With a Trucking Factoring company you can actually get the money you need faster. The money will normally be in your account within 24 hours, once the Trucking Factoring company is confident that your customers accounts are likely to be paid. Borrowing from a bank begins with vast amounts of paperwork, the loan must be underwritten, and this can take ages before you're notified if the loan has been approved.

4.You receive interest up-front. Unlike a bank loan that continues to build interest that you have to pay the entire time you have your business loan with a Trucking Factoring company, you do not have to continue to pay interest as they take it right off the top, deducting it from the total amount of accounts receivable. So you do not have to worry about monthly loan repayments, and you do not have to worry about the amount of interest payable, because all the money in the account is yours to spend.

As you can see, there are several benefits that makes considering financing through a Trucking Factoring company over a traditional bank worthwhile. However, there are also a couple of other benefits that a factory company can offer your business is far beyond the scope of the bank. The main benefit is that once you've sold your accounts receivable to the Trucking Factoring company, you are free from having to collect money owed by your customers. The Trucking Factoring company takes over that chore, since it is now their money to collect. Trucking Factoring companies are very efficient at debt collecting, and this frees up your valuable time to devote to running your company.

Another bonus is that, because the Trucking Factoring company has evaluated the quality of your customers' credit before buying the accounts receivable, you learn valuable information regarding your customers, like which ones are likely to pay, and which ones are less likely to pay. While a Trucking Factoring company is not the only way for your business to obtain the money it needs to keep growing, it does offer a type of financing well worth considering.
